Miami Heat got a whooping from the Milwaukee team, but they proved that was a minor bump and that they are a viable team for the playoffs. They went up against the Bucks in a second straight night and defeated them 119-108.

The Miami Heat players that contributed to this win were Goran Dragic came with 26 points while Bam Adebayo added 22 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists, Tyler Herro got 21 points, 15 rebounds.

The Bucks in their previous outing put up a NBA-record 29 three-pointers. So it can be said they had a good night. Giannis Antetokounmpo also helped with 26 points 13 rebounds and 10 assists.

The Bucks were looking prime to win when they were leading in the third quarter. They just could not quite finish it. The Milwaukee Bucks players that contributed to this win were Donte DiVincenzo scored 15 points and Jrue Holiday scored 13, but that was not enough.

Many thought the Heat’s loss can be attributed to their loss of Butler. Still, they were able to rally the troops and overcome this adversity.

Coach Spoelstra of the Miami Heat had indicated that the team was not happy at their loss and wanted to settle the score.

POSTGAME REACTION: Miami Heat vs Milwaukee Bucks 12/30/20

The Miami Heat beat the Milwaukee Bucks 119-108 in a bounce-back victory in their last game of 2020. After the game, Tyler Herro, Erik Spoelstra, Kelly Olyny…

In all honesty, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday performed adequately during the previous meeting, this one however they were lacking to some extent.

Middleton scored only eight points to emphasize how bad it was. Giannis Antetokounmpo was controlled and not allowed to do much. Tyler Herro punctuated what was to come when he gave Miami the lead at the end of third quarter with a three pointer on the buzzer.

It was amusing, after a scorching night of shooting prowess, they had a night where a lot of them were missing shots.

Adebayo was instrumental in this match as he was the main factor to their win. He was very active, making plays in the fourth quarter to hustle his team to victory.

The Heat really did well to improve their defensive efforts as they prevented too many turnovers in the second half.

Right now consistency is the Bucks problem. They have the talent and the depth, but pulling off those needed performances on a frequent basis is their main problem.

They have the time to figure that out since it is the start of the season. They can take positives from this and see where they are lacking, which was obviously the teamwork aspect of things. They let the Heat throw them off their rhythm and controlled the game too easily.

As for the Heat with Jimmy Butler out because of an injury, we can say the Miami Heat are in good hands until he returns. They are a team driven to win and can play exceptionally if pushed. They showed that grit during the NBA Finals.

Still, it can be said they should not have lost the match in the first place much less by such a large margin. Andre Iguodala made his first start for the Heat. The Heat have been trying to find their way as well with four different starting lineups. This is while the Bucks have had the same starters, just not the right chemistry.

The Heat are not exactly sure who to start it seems. Going forward, the Bucks will take on Chicago, while the Heat take on Dallas. We are looking forward to see how their campaign continues.
