Major election integrity victory in New York1 minute read

Another victory for liberty and a step in the right direction to secure our elections just occurred in New York.

The New York state Supreme Court ruled that individuals in the U.S. illegally, cannot vote in local elections.

This comes as a response to a piece of legislation  earlier this year, the NY City Council approved that would allow non-citizens (upwards of 800,000 illegal immigrants) to vote.

The New York State Constitution expressly states that citizens meeting the age and residency requirements are entitled to register and vote in elections,” Justice Ralph Porzio said.

Rep. Claudia Tenney on Twitter: “🚨The New York State Supreme Court just STRUCK DOWN NYC’s law that would have allowed noncitizens to vote.Voting is a sacred right for American citizens, and we should never allow it to be diminished or eroded. #ElectionIntegrityCaucus / Twitter”
