During a press conference earlier today. Florida Governor DeSantis took a moment to speak about how concerned he is over the major increase in fuel cost.

Recently, Joe Biden spoke at a press conference in Tokyo. There he said this rise in fuel cost could be a great opportunity to transition into a nation that doesn’t need fossil fuels…

And when it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over,” said Biden.

Governor DeSantis did take a moment to respond to that idiotic statement, “Gas prices are going up dramatically. And I just have to disagree with the President saying this is somehow an incredible opportunity to have this transition,” DeSantis said in response to Biden’s statement.

The Governor also made a grime prediction as we get closer to Memorial Day, “unfortunately as we have Memorial Day, and into the summer, I think it’s going to go up even more. So you’re going to be looking at for unleaded over five dollars a gallon,” DeSantis said.

The Florida Governor went onto say the following as well, “We stand in favor of doing everything the US can do to regain our energy independence. Which were actually had for the first time in a long time,” DeSantis finished.
