Twitter’s new CEO Elon Musk clears the air about talking to President Trump on returning to the platform.

Former Congressman Devin Nunes – who resigned from Congress to be appointed as Trump’s CEO of the new social network “TruthSocial” – made a claim during an appearance on Fox Business that former President Donald Trump encouraged billionaire Elon Musk to purchase Twitter and even talked about returning to the platform.

President Trump, basically before Elon Musk bought it, actually said to go and buy it because the goal of our company is really to build a community where people are in a family-friendly, safe environment,” Nunes claimed.

Musk replied to The New York Post tweet about the article, claiming this is false.

Elon Musk on Twitter: “This is false. I’ve had no communication, directly or indirectly, with Trump, who has publicly stated that he will be exclusively on Truth Social. / Twitter”

This is false. I’ve had no communication, directly or indirectly, with Trump, who has publicly stated that he will be exclusively on Truth Social.

With the rise of TruthSocial, I don’t believe Trump will be returning to Twitter anytime soon, at least.
