The internet troll and self claimed rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine took to his Instagram account today to announce his return…
“When I left and took a break. I didn’t say a word to NO ONE,” he wrote on a Instagram Story. “I didn’t need to explain nothing. I JUST DID IT. I WOKE UP AND NOW I WANT TO TAKE OVER AGAIN NOW GET OUT MY WAY. THE KING OF NEW YORK IS BACK,” the story finished.
Honestly, I totally forgot about this guy. After he got out of prison, I wrote an article about him being the a prime example of why Hip-Hop is dying. Since then, I have started my own music career. After being retired from being a longtime DJ, I decided to get in to rapping. The reason I bring that up is because I now feel even stronger that rappers like Tekashi are killing the industry.
69 posted some sort of strange teaser video to go along with this “breaking news.”
After watching that, I have no idea what I even watched. Is he promoting a horror movie? This whole “trolling” and making a mockery of being a rat or a snitch and rubbing it in people faces, like the whole “look at me I snitched on all of y’all and I’m still making music,” thing is running on empty. I’m sure that is his whole vision for this “return.” It’s going to be more of the same, with a little bit of “I just took a year off and am still the king of New York.” Tekashi, buddy, this won’t last very much longer. What he needs to do is just make music. The fame you got off of being a rat and being whacky and stuff was cool, I guess. But it’s time to move on.
