Help us fight censorship!

A set of “pre-wedding” photos from an interracial couple posted on Instagram shows a black man in slave shackles purposing to what appears to be a white woman.

The caption reads “1842. Days passed and everything changed, our love got stronger and stronger, he was no longer a slave, he was part of the family… 🤍 PRE-WEDDING session”

Photos have been uploaded in case of Twitter censorship at the bottom of article…

The Instagram account was redacted. There’s no telling what the story behind this is. It could very well be some sort of movie promotion. Or even a staged photo to insight more racial tension. But it has people in a huge uproar.

Booly Cooly ¯_(ツ)_/¯ 🌈 on Twitter: “Why did the brother think putting himself in shackles for wedding photos was a good idea?? Think bruh, THINK! pic.twitter.com/uQKlnHEymT / Twitter”

CraigGArt on Twitter: “Well I certainly find this offensive. Who would even suggest such a thing? And what wedding photographer would even go along with it and put their name on something like this? Some people just need a head examination I guess. / Twitter”

Not Your Average Chick 😏 on Twitter: “They both should be ashamed of themselves. We have come so far. Idk why either of them would have thought that was appropriate. He especially set black ppl back with that pic.twitter.com/2S4oAoFpxb / Twitter”
