With less than 24 hours left of the Trump presidency, the so-called “leader” of the Senate Republicans Mitch McConnell (R-KY) took yet another shot at President Trump.

During a speech on the Senate floor on Tuesday, McConnell said that President Trump was responsible for the Capitol building being overrun.

The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the President and other powerful people,” McConnell said about the events on January 6th.

Tomorrow, President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris will be sworn in. We’ll have a safe and successful inaugural right here on the west-front of the Capitol.”

McConnell is clearly trying to save face and bow down to the Democrats since losing the Senate. Which, by the way, is 100% the fault of Mitch McConnell. He is a failed leader and represents everything that makes people hate Republicans and think they’re spineless.
