Why has Steve Bannon turned on President Trump?

Are these comments true?

Former chief strategist to President Trump, Steve Bannon supposedly talked down about the POTUS to an author; Michael Wolff for his new book entitled “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House”.

Below are some Bannon quotes:

  • Bannon called the meeting between Donald Trump JR., Jared Kushner and a Russian lawyer who at the time said she had information regarding Hillary Clinton; “treasonous” and “unpatriotic”.
  • Referring to Ivanka Trump as “dumb as a brick”.
  • Steve also supposedly called it “the broke-dick campaign.”

Wow, Just looked at the comments section on Breitbart. Wow. When Bannon has lost Breitbart, he’s left with . . . umm, nothing.

It’s important to point out that the author; Michael Wolff has been caught falsifying quotes. Steve Bannon has not denied these claims, but on his radio show last night he said the following:

“The president is a great man,” said Bannon, in response to a caller’s question about the extraordinary rift that developed Wednesday between the two men. “You know I support him day in and day out.”

If this is true, why would Steve Bannon turn on President Trump? Bannon was a strong advocate for Trump during the campaign and during his stay in The White House. Even after being fired, Bannon said he would continue to support the President.

President Trump released a statement late yesterday evening:

“Stephen K. Bannon has nothing to do with me or my presidency,” the president said in a statement. “When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind.”
