Putin going to gift Snowden to Trump
Russia is considering sending Edward Snowden back to the US as a gift for President Donald Trump, In 2013, Snowden, a former NSA contractor, gave journalists a cache of classified documents about surveillance programs run by the US and its allies. Snowden has lived in Russia since then and says he would face a “show trial” if he returned to the US. In September, Snowden and his legal team launched a campaign to get him pardoned.
