Within a day of Donald Trump winning the 2016 presidential election, the president of Russia Vladimir Putin held a press conference and was asked about Trump’s victory and how it will effect the relationship between America and a Russia.  Below is his statement….

“We heard [Trump’s] campaign rhetoric while still a candidate for the US presidency, which was focused on restoring the relations between Russia and the United States.”

“The current US-Russian relations cannot be called friendly. Hopefully, with the new US president a more constructive dialogue will be possible between our countries.”

“The Russian Parliament will welcome and support any steps in this direction.”

This is a very big deal. Putin has absolutely zero respect for current president Barack Obama, and has even less respect for Hillary Clinton. Donald Trump however has been very vocal about repairing the relationship between America and Russia. Which is good because Russia has the leading nuclear program. They also have a big ISIS problem as well. Can you imagine how fast we would take out ISIS with Russia by our side?

Now many idiotic news outlets have been reporting on this like it’s a bad thing. Saying “see Trump was a Putin puppet all along”. These is beyond stupid. There is absolutely nothing wrong with America and Russia getting along.
