Why Gun Free Zones Are Dangerous.
Why gun free zones do not work, The media and the far left want you to live in fantasy land with them and believe that criminals see a gun free zone sign and it will instantly stop the crime and deter them. WRONG!, Criminals , Killers , terrorist, what ever you want to call them do not care about a stupid little sign, because to them its like an open door to walk right in to do what they want and face no resistance. With these signs in major places such as schools, churches and especially military bases, you are turning us into sitting ducks, and the criminals will see it as open season.
Lets start with some points
- Criminals are attracted to areas where they won’t face armed resistance. Mass shooters in particular are interested in maximizing the number of people they can kill, and thus avoid areas where a lot of people carry guns.
- Mass shootings would be more likely and more deadly in areas where there are no armed citizens ready to take down the shooter. After all, the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.
- Places with higher levels of gun control like cities have higher levels of gun homicides, which stems from a lack of armed good guys. Gun laws only prevent the law abiding from being adequately armed to stop bad guys.
The facts show that most mass shootings have happened in gun-free zones. Lets look at some facts
Aurora Colorado, James Holmes was plotting a mass shooting, his primary target was the airport but Holmes decided not to attack an airport because of what he described in his diary as its “substantial security.” Out of seven theaters showing the Batman movie premiere, it was the only one where guns were banned. In Colorado, individuals with permits can carry concealed handgun in most malls, stores, movie theaters, and restaurants..
Another Example
The Charleston, S.C. church shooting was almost a college shooting. But the shooter changed his mind, because he realized the College Of Charleston Had Armed Guards. So he targeted a small church that was a gun free zone and killed 9 innocent people.
Then when all this takes place the media and the left, automatically want to blame the guns and put in laws for gun free zones and ban all guns. It is not the guns that kill people its the idiots pulling the trigger. A killer will find a way to kill no matter what. A weapons Ban or Gun Free Zone will not work at all.

So how do we stop a bad guy with a Gun, You have armed civilians.
Just Yesterday here in the Great State Of Florida. A suspect led police on a wild and deadly chase along southbound I -75. Where Deputies were in pursuit of a subject that fled a scene of an accident, the suspect led them on a 3 mile chase. Then the suspect’s vehicle came to a stop. That is when the suspect exited his vehicle a rushed Lee’s county Deputy Dean Bardes, the two started to fight on the ground. The subject then gain top control of the deputy and was fighting for his firearm. Then a armed civilian rushed out of a vehicle and opened fire on the suspect hitting him 3 times and killing him at the scene. Deputy Bardes was not harmed and was just shaken and very grateful for the act of the civilian. The Civilian will not be charged. This comes from witness accounts.
This incident and event shows that a Good Guy with a gun, stops a bad guy with a gun any day.
