I voted | We will know our new president in 1 day2 minute read
Its almost here folks, less than 24 hours until this legendary election is over. I took part in early voting earlier today on Sunday afternoon. I snapped a few pictures of the lines. I wanted to talk to more people while in line but surprisingly it didn’t take very long at all to get in. When my mother, sister and I pulled into the local library we all kind of sighed thinking it would take forever. But luckily enough we got through a line of about 150 people and voted in about a half hour. I talked to three people in line and they all were separately voting for Donald Trump.
However I did break the rules a bit due to curiosity. I peeked over the counter at the person next to me, he was a black gentleman. I peeked over and saw he had Hillary Clinton’s box selected. I wanted to just look at him and say “really dude? Your voting for her? Do you know what she’s done?” But I didn’t. I didn’t want to cause a big scene, and everyone is entitled to their vote. Just sad. I can almost guarantee you that if I asked him why he’s voting Clinton, he’d give me a textbook talking point response like “well, she has experience and Trump is sexist and a (insert idiotic lie here)..” But once you bring up the email scandals, benghazi, Libya, haiti, whitewater, travelgate they cant say anything. They can’t even defend their candidate! So sad!
But luckily folks in less than 24 hours we’ll know who our next president will be. And I have a great feeling that person is going to be Donald Trump!
