Well, I have decided to make a big change in my life. A change I’ve done successfully before, a change I’ve been thinking about doing for a while now. And that is losing weight and getting back into the gym.

Now before I get into my plans and how I am going to lose weight, etc. I have to explain something some of you may already know if you’ve been following me for a while. I use to workout almost everyday, eat clean and have a gallon jug of water everywhere I go. I was 160 pounds and was pretty cut. Here is where I add some pictures just to help my self-esteem lol.

I loved lifting weights, I loved the way I looked and felt. But then I was in a car accident. An older gentleman t-boned the driver side door on my Mustang. It totaled my car, and really messed up my right neck and shoulder. This was like 7 years ago. I have disc damage, pinched nerves, and some arthritis forming in my shoulder. I have done physical and message therapy and multiple procedures, and still have pain. Some days are better than others, but the sharp pain is always there. So after that happened I stopped working out because of the injury, and that was really hard. I hoped one day it would go away, but it hasn’t. My diet and energy went out the window…

I don’t want to get back down to 160 but I would like to get down to 185- 190. Currently, and it’s hard to say, but I’m 210 pounds, and I’m 5’10”.

But I’m done looking in the mirror seeing what I see. So I’ve decided to make a damn change. To eat cleaner, cut out the soda significantly, start running/walking and slowly start lifting again. I know I can do it, because I’ve done it before.

My diet will be as simple as it was back then. Lots of chicken, Turkey breast, tuna, protein shakes, milk, water, salad, veggies, fruit etc.

My work out plan will start very slow. Running/walking, and doing compound exercises with lighter weights until I feel comfortable moving into the isolation movements with heavier weights.

My weight loss goal is 10 pounds for the first stage (20-30 days).
