Adrian Peterson potential landing spots3 minute read

Where will AP land for the 2017 season?

Help us fight censorship!

The 10 year veteran running back Adrian Peterson is arguably one of the best running backs in NFL history. He’s been with the Minnesota Vikings for his whole career, but he may be landing in another city for the 2017 season. There are a number of teams that have a slot to fill in the running back position such as…

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Houston Texans
  • New York Giants
  • New England Patriots
  • Green Bay Packers
  • Oakland Raiders
  • Kansas City Chiefs

Last season Peterson was placed on injured reserve, but in 2015 he racked up a staggering 1,485 yards and 11 touchdowns. Peterson has been plagued with injuries throughout his career, and is now 32 years old. But one thing he does very well is bounce back from injuries, AP sets the bar for injury recovery, just like he did when he had a ACL tear and came back in just 8 months. But we do all know running backs hit a wall after 30, but Adrian seems to have another season or two left in him. He would make a great third down back, or even a bell cow back for a team like Oakland or New York. Most teams now a days just try to get the biggest name in free agency to try and sell tickets and jerseys. One thing we can be sure of is that we will see Peterson play somewhere next season. We wish him the best and look forward to seeing where he will land.
