We all know that the NFL is known for its big hits, big plays and big players, but what we don’t know that these players have big hearts as well. These players do a lot of work in their communities and churches and do countless charity events as well. They rarely get acknowledge for their countless charity work. So I am going to take time to acknowledge one player. Steve Means Jr, plays Defensive End for the Philadelphia Eagles. This is his first year with the team and he is making his name know on and off the field especially with his charitable works and strong faith.Steve Means Jr is a man of GOD, he attends church and  does so much work for his church and in his community. One act that he did, was he made a child’s Christmas very memorable, since the child’s parents have hit hard times Christmas was going to be tough.  Well every year the Getzville Church adopts a child from a family for Christmas to help out, that Child was Noah, and the member that adopted Noah for this Christmas was Jose Rivera, Mr. Rivera was once Steve Means Jr’s assistant Principal, So Mr Rivera made some calls and reached out to Means and informed him about Noah’s situation. Means did not hesitate to help. Means met with Noah at the Chapel and gave him a few gifts, he gave Noah a Eagles Jersey and a signed football. Means was quoted  saying ” I’m born and raised here. I bleed Buffalo, and it’s always in my heart. It’s hometown for me, so to come back and do something like this means a lot.”  Means does a lot of these types of acts of kindness, especially for his Church in Tampa FL where he is always helping the church and the children of the church. He will go above and beyond to help anyone he can and spread the word of GOD.  To end this article I say acts of Kindness should not go unoticed. (john 1:12) “But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of GOD.”
