With yet another blowout devastating loss Sunday night to another mediocre team the Packers fall to 4-6 on the season. Now we Packers fans are faced with a question we aren’t use to hearing…
Can the Packers still make the playoffs?

Packers vs Redskins week 11
Yes you read that right. The once shoo-in Packers who always at least made the playoffs since 2010. Are starting to come to terms with the fact they may actually miss the playoffs.

Now let’s take a deeper look at the playoff picture for the Green Bay Packers…

This is the NFC North standings..

NFC north standings

So as you can see the Packers are sitting in third, but is only 2 games behind the Lions who are in first place. Now one thing to be hopeful about is that the Packers have a 2-1 record in the division only falling to the Vikings in week 2, 17-14. So as we sit right now we’re 2 games behind. We currently have the tie breaker to take the lead at the moment.

The Detroit Lions are in the lead in the NFC North, but they do have a very hard schedule ahead of them facing teams like The Cowboys, Saints & Giants. The Vikings have a little bit of an easier schedule facing The Cowboys and Colts. So this Thursday on Thanksgiving Packers fans should root for Detroit to beat the Vikings because the Vikings have an easy path.

Now with that being said do the Packers still have a chance at the playoffs? Yes. But it is going to be incredibly tough. The injuries continue to stack against us, the young guys really need to rally and step up.
