Trump is “backing off prosecuting Hillary Clinton”3 minute read

Help us fight censorship!

Yesterday Trump’s campaign manager was on MSNBC and was asked if President-elect Donald Trump will still be assigning a special prosecutor to look into Hillary Clinton’s illegal email server as he promised during his campaign trail. Her response has some hard-nosed Trump supporters very upset. Below is her statement….

“I think when the president-elect who’s also the head of your party now, Joe,” Conway said, “tells you before he’s even inaugurated he doesn’t wish to pursue these charges, it sends a very strong message, tone and content to the members.

“Look,” she added, “I think he’s thinking of many different things as he prepares to become the president of the United States and things that sound like the campaign aren’t among them.”

So is Donald Trump backing off prosecuting Hillary Clinton? Now people need to calm down. Some Trump supporters are extremely upset and feel played, or that Donald Trump is a shill who said whatever it took to get elected. I partially understand why one would feel that way, but there’s a few things we need to remember

  • There has been no 100% confirmation from President-elect Trump or the Trump campaign at all either way.
  • Ultimately it is not the roll of the President to assign a special prosecutor to look into a case. That’s what the attorney general is for. Now that Senator Jeff Sessions has been awarded the attorney general position, I truly think Sessions will be going after Hillary Clinton and her crimes. Sessions in the past has been very vocal about how disgusted he was in the way the whole case was handled. Sessions is a bulldog attorney, if he goes after Clinton, it’s over!
  • President-elect Donald Trump could also be playing mind games. Which I think he is. In the debate he was very adamant that Hillary Clinton should be in jail for her many crimes. Then in a 60 Minutes interview 2 weeks ago Donald Trump was asked if he would “really get a special prosecutor” to look into her situation. He responded with “I’ll have to see, I don’t want to hurt them (the Clintons), I really don’t, but she has done some bad things. So we will see.” You can clearly see that Trump wants Hillary to face justice but Trump also has a big and kind heart.
  • One quick thing I need to add is that President Obama very well could issue a pardon for his “home girl” Hillary Clinton. So if Donald Trump is putting pressure and showing signs he will try and prosecute Hillary, Obama just might issue a pardon to her. So by stepping back a little bit it keeps Obama off edge. Because believe me if Hillary Clinton is indicted Barack Obama will be right behind her in those cufflinks.

Ultimately I do think Hillary Clinton will be brought to justice. However I don’t think it’s going to be due to Trump putting a special prosecutor on the case, but rather his attorney general Jeff Sessions will be looking into it.
