The Flash Season 3 Episode 4 REVIEW | Mirror Master7 minute read
Finally! Mirror Master is on the Flash TV show!
Awesome how they gave him his powers. This show never ceases to amaze me. The writing and transforming the story from the comic book page to the small screen is very impressive. Mirror Master is one of my favorite villains from The Flash. I’m hoping they bring him back later on in this season.
It’s nice to see Barry and Iris actually together. Normally one wants to get together, the other doesn’t, then they get together then Barry fucks something up. We’ve yet to be able to see the two of them actually together, like for real together. Something I’m definitely looking forward to seeing evolve throughout this season. I also am curious to see how the whole situation with Joe being uncomfortable seeing Barry and Iris getting intimate goes. Also Barry at the end of the episode said he may get his own place. I love that idea. A change of scenery in the show would be great and that would give Barry and Iris privacy.
Evan McCulloch is Earth-2 Mirror Master and he has a badass mirror gun. Many think he’s actually better than the Sam Scudder Mirror Master. So I’m curious to see if we see the Sam Scudder version of Mirror Master at some point in this season.
I hadn’t ever heard of a villain name ‘Top’. But from what I see just quickly doing some reading it’s actually a guy, and they changed it up to a girl for the show. But his/her powers are really badass.
I don’t know exactly how I feel about the team finding another Harrison Wells from another Earth. I really do like the character Harrison Wells though so I didn’t want to see him go. We’ll see how it goes.
This is really cool I thought. Directly from the Flash comics. I am very happy they finally decided to put Mirror Master in one of the episodes. I thought they did it well.
Caitlin finally uses her breeze powers to save Barry from the mirror. But no one else saw her do it. I’m not sure wht she’s keeping her powers a secret. But they’ve been teasing that for a few episodes now, and Wells knew something was up with her and told Sisco to keep an eye on her so I’m sure we’ll get an explanation next episode.
So we didn’t see any of The Rival or Dr. Alchemy in this episode which was kind of a nice change of pace. Next week I think we’ll get to see Caitlin tell the crew about her powers, getting to know the new ‘Hip-Wells’ and showing him the ropes. And at one point I assume Dr. Alchemy will make an appearance and fuck some shit up…Follow us!
